Strong Pact for West African Protected Areas financing: six Ministers of Environment and donors commit to Nagoya

A round table of donors for West African protected areas financing will be held in the first half of next year. The announcement was made on Thursday, October 28, 2010 by the Minister representing the prime Minister of Guinea-Bissau on behalf of his peers of the sub-region. It was on the sidelines of the 10th conference of parties of the CBD at a special event organized by the regional program for coastal and Marine Area Conservation (PRCM) work and initiative of the secretariat of the on Biological Diversity Convention.
